Granted, it's slightly closer to the real thing than the current cartoon logo, but that's not terribly difficult. And they're both cartoons. Have you ever seen an actual horned frog? I used to play with 'em while visiting my grandparents in Midland and north of Austin when I was a kid. And I never played with anything anywhere close to that. Second, my initial reaction to this one is not particularly positive. My ultimate reaction to this, or any new logo will be colored greatly by how much success the Frogs have while wearing it.

Re: THE 2012 TCU FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

It's going to be rough starting with Oklahoma State but but will truly show how good we are.

Re: THE 2012 TCU FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

I'm not sure it could be much better...except the open date the first week of the season. You could tell by the end of the game that they were wearing down and we were getting to McDermott. I just want to know what kind of plan can be placed to shore up the secondary. I will have to look at the recruits from last 2 years and see what we can expect for the future.

Re: RAVES AND RANTS – TCU VS SMU

The secondary is weak...that's for sure...but I also fault the pass rush. The Big East is a far better choice where we will be treated as equals. The Big 12 is dominated by UT & OU. Everyone else recruits in their shadows. The Big East opens up so many other possibilities for recruiting and advancing to BCS games that I hope TCU will stay the course. Please tell the Big 12, "No thanks."

Re: TCU FOOTBALL, BIG EAST, BIG 12 & MWC 2.0

I have read the same things.
